The law promulgated by the Igwe and the president-general of the town union, stipulated that no woman should wear trousers. Women are also forbidden from walking in public without covering their heads. Our reporter spoke with the ruler, Lt.-Col. Wisdom Onebunne (rtd) and he claimed that the matter had been resolved.
